The New York Times reports that Sotomayor “brings to the confirmation experience the kind of rich personal story that has always been deeply gratifying to Americans, the journey from humble beginnings to a respected position of great influence.” The balance of the Court is expected to remain unchanged.

A tragic school bus- snow plow crash injures 22 in upstate New York, between Syracuse and Rochester. Mercy flight helicopters from Canandaigua and Marcellus transported two of the wounded. Our prayers are with those hurt and their families.
