November 2, 2012

A second vehicle was not involved in the Carol County, Kentucky school bus crash that caused the death of two children and injured many others, according to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department.

The head start bus left Barnes Road near Carrollton, flipping and hitting a tree. Originally, the Sheriffs Department reported a second vehicle collided with the bus causing bus crash. It is not unusual that the cause of an accident is not what it initially appears to be. Accident reconstruction experts trained in determining causation are essential in cases like this.. An accurate determination of cause can often go a long way towards preventing future tragic losses. Investigation continues. The victims, their families and the community are in our thoughts and prayers.
