No Second Vehicle in Bus Crash

November 1, 2012

As reported in New York Truck Lawyer, our sister website, the Carroll County, Kentucky Sheriff’s Department states no second vehicle was involved in the crash of a school bus which caused the death of two young children and injured others. The Head Start bus flipped, crashing into a tree near Carrollton, Kentucky. Initially, the sheriffs department reported there was impact by a second vehicle.

The crash is an example of why it is essential in many cases to have an accident reconstruction expert at the site, examine vehicles, take measurements , download black boxes and more. Accidents happened quickly, causes often are not obvious, are frequently disputed and bus and truck crashes are far different than car crashes. The victims and their families, in the community are in our thoughts and prayers.
