Toyota Recalling 700,000 Minivans, Following Recent Recall of 1 Million Vehicles

September 27, 2013

Toyota is recalling Sienna minivans due to potential unexpected rollaways. Included are the years 2004, 2005 and 2007 to 2009. In addition, the company is recalling more than 1 million hybrids and CUVs due to suspension defects. The suspension recall involves the 2010 Lexus HS250 hybrid and 2006 through 2011 Toyota RAV4. This is particularly important in Buffalo Niagara, upstate New York and the Northeast United States and Canada because it involves the rear suspension arm that could over time, rust out. Due to salt used in winter conditions. Vehicles are more susceptible to loss of control and accident. This can occur when the driver is doing everything right.
