No steel in these “steel toe” boots can cause injury

August 22, 2011

Itasca Fusion Hiker Boots were recently recalled. If you own a pair it is imperative that you stop wearing them and return them to C.O. Lynch for a full refund.

These boots are advertised as having steel toes. However, the boot toe is merely made of a composite material and not steel, thus not protecting against compression or impact.

Feroleto Law has extensive experience in work place injuries including at construction sites, and plants and factories. We have seen first hand why steel toe shoes/boots are a must on the job site.
