More than half of the students in the Buffalo Public School system do not graduate from high school. Many who do face difficult employment prospects. A front page article in the Buffalo Law Journal cited the Law Intern Program of Buffalo created by John Feroleto and his wife Paula. They plan to connect students from the inner-city with law firms who will provide paid internships. This will create the opportunity for the students to work in a professional setting, develop their résumé and possibly develop mentor relationships.

John Feroleto was asked to serve as faculty for the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) on the topic of, “Competing With and Beating the Big Firms” at the Ontario Bar Association in Toronto, Canada on September 24, 2013. Today he was a guest lecturer at the University at
