More than half of the students in the Buffalo Public School system do not graduate from high school. Many who do face difficult employment prospects. A front page article in the Buffalo Law Journal cited the Law Intern Program of Buffalo created by John Feroleto and his wife Paula. They plan to connect students from the inner-city with law firms who will provide paid internships. This will create the opportunity for the students to work in a professional setting, develop their résumé and possibly develop mentor relationships.

According to a new study, hybrids are safer than similar size vehicles. The Highway Loss Data Institute should be reported in national news media soon. As an attorney who represents people harmed by truck accidents, car crashes or other catastrophic life events, I am acutely aware of injuries
