Headway of WNY can use things you won’t use.

April 5, 2013

Headway of WNY is a great organization, consisting mostly of volunteers who help people with traumatic brain injuries. As an injury attorney, I have clients who have very normal lives and suddenly have something happen to them or a family member such as a car accident, truck accident, school sports event, work injury, etc.

I have seen the tremendous work Headway does day in and day, out such as support groups for injury victims and families, helping injured people get into appropriate programs and more.

It has a tiny budget and it’s primary fundraiser is a dinner and silent auction Thursday, May 16.

They are in need of some small help for the event:

  • Any donations of Baskets or Silent Auction Items. Volunteers can do the “finishing touches” for those not artsy.
  • Any empty baskets, ribbons, bows, artificial flowers or basket decorating materials.
  • Any items which could be combined with others to make up a basket: bath and body items given to you that are not your style, gift cards you received to stores but will never use, bottles of wine or liquor you don’t care for, new items from Christmas or other occasions that need to be re-gifted, a few scratch offs.

If you would like to help we are happy to pick up; call my paralegal, Erica, or myself at 716-854-0700.
