Bus travel can be and should be safe. A tour bus from Canada with approximately 60 people flipped over near New York City last week. It occurred on the eastbound I 80 outside of New York. GAO reports violating truck and bus companies stay on the road

WASHINGTON — Hundreds of tractor-trailer and bus companies ordered to shut down because of federal safety violations ranging from suspended licenses to possible drug use have stayed on the road by using different names, investigators say.
