Bus Company Ordered Closed:Putting Passengers in Luggage Compartment

As a truck accident attorney and bus accident attorney, I have seen all kinds of dangerous situations created. But Haines Tours has a first. Friday the FMCSA, the Federal Motor Carrier Safe ordered Haines cease operations when 6 passengers were found in a luggage compartment.

The Haines driver said there was no room on the bus. The FMCSA rightly saw this as an “imminent hazard”.
