They said it couldn’t be done. With five children, a job and maintaining her home, Jill Wnek said she planned to go to law school. Friends said it was impossible, wait until your kids are grown up. Not Jill. Not only did she go to law school, she attacked it with a passion. Jill earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo Law School where she also competed for and won a spot on the highly regarded journal, the Buffalo Law Review and became an Associate Editor.
Before law school, Jill Wnek earned her Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from the University of Buffalo. She joined Feroleto Law as a law clerk after her first year of law school and remained with the firm upon admission to the bar.
Jill volunteers. At her children’s schools, she provides help any way she can, whether it be in the classroom or coordinating large school events. She has a strong desire to help her community. Jill knew she could be a more effective advocate as a lawyer.
At the University at Buffalo Law School, she volunteered through the law school’s student Volunteer Lawyer’s Project, helping people who could not afford legal representation in Erie County, New York Family Court and Federal Court.
Jill has quickly become an outstanding advocate and writer who provides high quality Legal Briefs and Memoranda to Judges in the Supreme Court and Appeals Courts of the State of New York on a variety of matters. These include motor vehicle and trucking crashes, construction site injuries, nursing home neglect, premises liability and Surrogate Court matters.
Away from the law Jill, and her husband Bobby, keep busy with their five children and the many activities their kids are involved in. When she is not working you may well find her at the ice rink, baseball field, football field, school events, or various fundraising events for the children’s organizations.
