A Snyder mother of two lost her life when a tractor-trailer drove into the rear of her stopped car on I-90 in Pembroke New York Saturday. The woman had hit a deer, was stopped unable to get her car out of the traffic lane.
Deer running in front of or into vehicles is a regular problem for I-90 drivers.
A short time later a trooper who responded to the first crash was injured when her patrol car was struck. State police investigation is continuing. Truck drivers may have computers, cellphones or other distractions to take their eyes off the road ahead. The Buffalo News reported.
